Body
Issue/Request:
An Ordinance approving the dual award of Bid No. 2022-023, to purchase ammunition on an as-needed basis for a one-year term with up to four, one-year renewals to On Target Ammunition, LLC and Zoom Technologies, LLC, and authorizing the City Manager to execute the same for the City.

The delay in deliveries causes payments to be delayed from one budget year to the next.

The Police Department has struggled to maintain adequate levels of training ammunition as there has been a shortage of raw material (lead)(brass)(primers), coupled with the COVID-19 supply chain distribution issues. The timeline stipulation is important to ensure we can expect deliveries within a reasonable amount of time.
