Issue/Request:
An Ordinance authorizing the execution of an agreement by and between the City of Lee's Summit, Missouri, and the Park Ridge Community Improvement District for additional street lights within the Trails of Park Ridge - 4th Plat, and authorizing the City Manager to enter into an agreement for the same.
Key Issues:
· A street light agreement is needed for additional street lights to be leased by the City from Evergy for the Trails at Park Ridge Subdivision - 4th Plat.
· Additional street lighting is needed that exceeds the City standards for residential subdivision lighting (Resolution 06-04).
· Three (3) additional lights are proposed to meet the roadway design criteria as elected by the developer/engineer.
· The City will not be responsible for costs incurred by the additional street lights that exceed the City street light standards. Actual costs for these street lights billed to the City by Evergy will be reimbursed to the City by the Park Ridge Community Improvement District annually in perpetuity.

FIRST MOTION: I move for a second reading of an Ordinance authorizing the execution of an agreement by and between the City of Lee's Summit, Missouri, and the Park Ridge Community Improvement District for additional street lights within the Trails of Park Ridge - 4th Plat, and authorizing the City Manager to enter into an agreement for the same.
