Background:
The existing Airport Master Plan is over 20 years old with the majority of the projects listed in the Master Plan being completed. On October 15, 2019, City Council authorized the update of the Airport Master Plan. The Master Plan update was split into two phases by the Federal Aviation Administration and State Aviation Department due to budget constraints. Phase 1 provides basic planning elements of a Master Plan such as: inventory, forecast, facilities requirements, alternatives and land use compatibility. Phase 2 will provide the FAA deliverables such as Airports GIS Survey, Aerial Imagery, Airport Layout Plan (ALP), and the Exhibit A Property Map.
