Why interested: Greetings - I would like to serve so that I can be a positive contributor to the City of Lee's Summit. When I got married 3 years ago I moved to my wife's home, where she has been a resident for some time. Coming from Kansas City was an adjustment, but there are so many great things about LS and there are even more possibilities! I would like to be part of ensuring that those possibilities -many of which are envisioned in the LS360 Plan- are materialized. I have served in Kansas City's Crossroads Community Association 'Infrastructure Committee', and was part of the team that participated in their Greater Downtown Area Plan and subsequent planning of streetscape improvements on Grand Blvd and 20th Street. I have a Bachelor of Science in Urban Studies (Planning) with an emphasis on Infrastructure, Transportation and Sustainability. For credentials, I am a Certified Property Manager through the Institute of Real Estate Management, and a LEED Green Associate through the US Green Building Council. I am currently employed with O'Reilly Development,a nd the sister company O'Reilly Management Services as their Director of Multifamily. Our key project is the adaptive-reuse of the Folger's plant in KCMO, now called Roaster's Block. Thank you for your consideration in advance, I hope to participate.

Other participation: Member of Historic KC. I also volunteer at biking events when possible, and some community engagement though my local church.

Interested in serving on: Livable Streets Advisory Board

Other interests: My general interest in LS is to support our growth as a vibrant, livable city that is connected economically, educationally and socially to both our urban and rural neighbors.
