Why interested: Having worked with Habitat for seven years, both as a volunteer and as a staff member, I have developed a deep concern for families in need. In addition to working provide long term solutions for poverty housing in Eastern Jackson County, I am interested in addressing root causes for poverty. The overall prosperity of our community presents the opportunity to provide resources and education to those less fortunate. I would like to be a part of The Human Services Advisory Board, helping to focus those efforts and improve the lives of others in Lee’s Summit.
