An Ordinance awarding the bid for Project No. 576322-8C for the stormwater improvements: Noeleen Lane to Earthworks Excavation, LLC in the amount of $344,037.55, and authorizing the City Manager to execute an agreement for the same.
Key Issues:
· City staff identified locations in the City where structural flooding occurs, including Noeleen Ln.
· The stormwater improvements at NE Noeleen Lane, designed by Public Works Engineering pursuant to Ordinance No. 8926, includes installation of approximately 350 feet of new storm sewer pipe (hereinafter "Project No. 576322-8C").
· Project No. 576322-8C is funded from the CIP Sales Tax Fund that was approved by voters in April 2017 and became effective April 1, 2018.
· Public Works Engineering issued an advertisement for bids for the construction of Project No. 576322-8C on February 29, 2024, in accordance with local policies and state statues.
· Earthworks Excavation, LLC (hereinafter "Contractor") was evaluated to be the lowest and best bidder by City staff.
· City desires to enter into an agreement with Contractor to construct Project No. 576322-8C.

I move to recommend to City Council approval of an Ordinance awarding the bid for Project No. 576322-8C for the stormwater improvements: Noeleen Lane to Earthworks Excavation, LLC in the amount of $344,037.55, and authorizing the City Manager to execute an agreement for the same.
