Issue/Request:

Updates to the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) to update development requirements and definitions pertaining to accessory dwelling units and other accessory uses and structures found in Article 6 and Article 15 of the UDO.

 

Proposed City Council Motion:

I move for a second reading of Application #PL2023-077 - Unified Development Ordinance Amendments to Article 6 Use Standards pertaining to Accessory Uses and Structures and requirements for Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) and Article 15 Rules of Interpretation and Definitions, City of Lee's Summit, applicant.

Recommendation

Staff recommends approval of the Unified Development Ordinance amendments as presented.
