Issue/Request:
This request is for the purchase of dispatching software enhancements by acquiring Emergency Medical and Fire Dispatching software (ProQA). This request was included within the FY24 Public Safety Sales Tax Budget previously approved by the City Council.
Key Issues:
Current processes and procedures are unsupported and obsolete. This software will be fully integrated with the new Computer Aided Dispatch system and will improve and enhance our ability to conform with industry best practices for Fire and EMS Dispatching.
Background:
This item was presented and approved through the City Council at the August 15th 2023 meeting, however it was later discovered that all the required items we not in final form. Due to the changes and edits this item is being represented for approval now that all documents are proofed and are in their final form.
