An Ordinance approving Modification No. 5 to the On-Call Agreement for Environmental Professional Engineering Services Yearly Contract (Original RFQ No. 2020-061)(Renewal 2020-061/R3) between the City of Lee's Summit, Missouri and Stearns, Conrad and Schmidt, Consulting Engineers, Inc. dba SCS Engineers, in the amount of $168,872.50, for Environmental Support Services - Market Plaza Redevelopment Area Demolition for the Downtown Market Plaza, and authorizing the City Manager to execute the same.

Key Issues:
Third party inspection testing is required for the first construction phase of the Downtown Market Plaza, Guaranteed Maximum Price 1 (GMP 1).

This testing and inspection is required by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR).

SCS is equipped and qualified to perform the inspection and testing for asbestos removal and soil remediation required for the safe future use of the property.
