Issue/Request:

This is a presentation on the National Opioid Settlement Funds, the amount of funds the City is expected to receive, and the proposed use of these funds to relaunch the Lee's Summit Police Department's Safe Passage Initiative to provide inpatient treatment opportunities for individuals with an opioid use disorder and to provide education to the citizens of Lee's Summit regarding opioid abuse and life saving measures.
