A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to appoint successor Directors to the Ritter Plaza Community Improvement District.
Key Issues:
The Ritter Plaza Community Improvement District (the "District") was established on December 20, 2012 by Ordinance No. 7275. This resolution will reappoint the Board of Directors and reenact the Ritter Plaza Community Improvement District.
The District is run by a Board of Directors. The Community Improvement District (CID) Act and the District By-laws provide for the Mayor of the City to appoint Successor Directors of the District, with the consent of the City Council.
The attached Resolution if approved, would reappoint Kevin Fitzpatrick, Laura Fitzpatrick, Mike Brown each serve 4 year terms (June 1, 2023 - June 1, 2027) and Millie Brown and Greg Duvall as the Board of Directors to each serve 2 year terms (June 1, 2023 - June 1, 2025).
Proposed City Council Motion:
I move for approval of the Resolution authorizing the Mayor to appoint successor Directors to the Ritter Plaza Community Improvement District.
