A Resolution amending Resolutions 21-01 and 21-17 to amend dates and time frames in order to extend the time of the Lee’s Summit Commission for Diversity and Inclusion to September 30, 2023.

Issue/Request:
Since the delivery of the Diversity and Inclusion Community Assessment report to the Mayor and City Council on September 13, 2022, the Diversity and Inclusion Commission has worked diligently on developing recommendations to incorporate into a D&I Strategic Action Plan to present to the Mayor and City Council. In order to provide a thorough and thoughtful plan, the Commission is requesting additional time to finalize this work by extending the date for the D&I Commission until September 30, 2023. This work is being supported by Mrs. Dana Cutler and city staff.
