Presentation: Diversity and Inclusion Status Update

Issue/Request:
Chairperson Gray, Vice-Chairperson Wilson and Dana Cutler will be providing the Mayor and City Council with a status update of the continued work taking place by the Diversity and Inclusion Commission.
Key Issues:
Since the delivery of the Diversity and Inclusion Community Assessment report to the Mayor and City Council on September 13, 2022, the Diversity and Inclusion Commission has been diligently working on developing recommendations to incorporate into a D & I Strategic Action Plan to present to the Mayor and City Council. The development of the Commission's D & I Strategic Action Plan is being supported by Mrs. Dana Cutler and city staff.
An action plan timeline has been prepared and attached to this packet for awareness.
Proposed City Council Motion:
No motion necessary - there is a Resolution drafted to be considered later on the agenda to extend the time frame for the D & I Commission work to be concluded on or before September 30, 2023.
