Issue/Request:
An Ordinance awarding the bid for Project No. 767-C for the Langsford and Milton Thompson Water Main Upsize Program to Infrastructure Solutions, LLC. in the amount of $1,059,880.00 and authorizing the City Manager to execute an agreement for the same.



Key Issues:

· As directed by the FY23 CIP there are continued efforts to maintain and strengthen the City's water distribution system.
· Approximately 7,500 LF of existing water main will be replaced and increased in size along Langsford Road, Milton Thompson Road, and Blue Parkway (hereinafter "Project No. 767-C).
· The total budget for Project No. 767-C is funded from the Water Tap Fund.

· Public Works Engineering issued an advertisement for bids for the construction of Project No. 767-C on March 7, 2023 in accordance with local policies and state statutes.

· Infrastructure Solutions, LLC (hereinafter "Contractor") was determined to be the lowest and best bidder by City staff

I move to recommend to City Council approval of an Ordinance awarding the bid for Project No. 767-C for the Langsford and Milton Thompson Water Main Upsize Program to Infrastructure Solutions, LLC. in the amount of $1,059,880.00 and authorizing the City Manager to execute an agreement for the same.
