Body

In August of 1994, the City of Lee’s Summit (“City”) was designated as an Entitlement Community eligible to receive Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The funding approval/agreement allows the City to administer the 2022-23 CDBG funds, which were approved through the 2022-23 Annual Action Plan in June 2022. HUD Has approved the City’s Annual Action Plan, and the City desires to enter into a Funding Approval/ Agreement with HUD in order to receive the allocated CDBG funding.

I move for adoption of an Ordinance approving the execution of the funding / approval agreement by and between the City of Lee's Summit, Missouri and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for the 2022-2023 Community Development Block Grant Program Year.
