Body

Issue/Request:

An Ordinance approving the use of a cooperative contract between Sourcewell and The Wilson Group, Inc., to utilize job order contracting services as needed and authorizing the City Manager to execute the same for the City.

Key Issues:

-The City has the need to have small construction work done from time to time

-Sourcewell has a competitively awarded a cooperative contract with The Wilson Group, Inc. to perform job order contracting services at a specific mark up.

-The City's Procurement policy allows the City to utilize a cooperative contract between a third-party aggregator and a vendor

-The City anticipates spending over $50,000 during any one year of the contract on small construction projects

-Per the City's Procurement policy, contracts with $50, 000 or more spend require the approval of the City Council

-Historical spend: FY22 $122,404, FY21 $69,671  - most of the funds were spent was on CARES Act projects
