Body

Background:

There has been community concern about the standards associated with residential fences.  Currently, there are no restrictions on the number of materials allowed on residential fences.  Staff has proposed a limit of two materials with the ability to add accent pieces.  The Community and Economic Development Committee considered the amendment on December 8, 2021 and directed staff to proceed with the ordinance amendment process.
