Proposed City Council Motion:

I move for adoption of an Ordinance providing for an election of municipal officers by voters in the City of Lee's Summit, Missouri, at the General Election to be held on April 5, 2022, and providing that notice of said election be given. 

Background:

A general election of municipal officers is held the first Tuesday in the month of April, as established by the State of Missouri.  The Charter passed by the voters of Lee's Summit on April 2, 1996, provides that candidates elected to fill offices with expiring terms shall serve four-year terms.

Any additional filings from the noon on December 28, 2021 to 5pm on December 28, 2021 will be added to the attached ordinance and an amended ordinance will be noted.
