Issue/Request:
The City Council will consider Resolution No. 21-28 in response to the pending decision by the Jackson County Legislature as it relates to a mandatory mask requirement.
Key Issues:
The Resolution will be a statement by the City of Lee's Summit providing clarity to the city's position. Also, direction will be provided to the City Manager as it relates to the assignment of city resources.
Proposed Committee Motion:
I move for adoption of A Resolution expressing opposition to the current mask mandate promulgated by Jackson County, Missouri and prohibiting the use of any city funds to enforce such mandate.
