Update on 2020 City Council Redistricting
Key Issues:
Based upon feedback received from City Council at the September 7, 2021 City Council meeting, additional redistricting options were created and analyzed.
Proposed City Council Motion:
I move to direct staff to hold a Public Hearing with an associated ordinance to approve the proposed redistricting plan as depicted on Exhibit A.
Background:
Additional background information can be found in the attached memo that includes information from the previous analysis that has been conducted.
Impact/Analysis:
The proposed Exhibit A results in a maximum population deviation of 7.3%, which is below the required maximum deviation of 10%.
