Update on Preliminary Information for City Council Redistricting

Issue/Request:
Per City Council direction, Development Services staff has been performing preliminary analysis of changes in population based upon the most currently available information. This information is ahead of official 2020 census data being released, and the purpose is to estimate what the official changes may be when the official data is released by the U.S. Census Bureau. Official data is expected to be available in September 2021. Three scenarios are provided for discussion purposes only, and are not meant to be an official recommendation for new City Council District boundaries. These are attempts to follow major roads and only represent three possible solutions.
