Issue/Request:
Section 3.10(e) of the City Charter of the City of Lee's Summit, Missouri provides that "the City Attorney shall, with the advice and consent of the Council, appoint Prosecuting Attorneys for the prosecution of violations of city ordinances before the Municipal Court. From time to time members of the Law Department or outside attorneys are needed to prevent unnecessary delay in the conduct of the Municipal Court. The City Attorney recommends and respectfully requests that the City Council advise and consent to the appointments of Jeremy Cover, Jeff Deane, Sara Carnes, Scott Ison, and Brian W. Head to serve as Assistant Prosecuting Attorneys for the prosecution of violations of city ordinances before the Lee's Summit Municipal Court.

I move for adoption of a Resolution granting the City Council's consent pursuant to City Charter Section 3.10(E) to the appointment of assistant prosecuting attorneys for the prosecution of municipal violations of City ordinances before the Lee's Summit Municipal Court.
