Issue/Request:
An Ordinance awarding the bid for Project No. 54-13 for the Arnold Hall Stormwater Improvements Project to Tasco, LLC, in the amount of $1,238,528.00, and authorizing the City Manager to execute an agreement for the same.
Key Issues:
· The businesses at the SW corner of 3rd Street and Green Street experienced structural flooding in part to failed, or lack of, public stormwater infrastructure.
· City staff has designed stormwater system improvements to mitigate flooding at 123, 127, and 129 SE 3rd Street (“hereinafter Project No. 54-13”).
· Project No. 54-13 is funded from the remaining 2007 Stormwater Bond Issue Fund and the 2017 CIP Sales Tax Renewal Fund.
· PWE issued an advertisement for bids for the construction of Project No. 54-13 on May 3, 2021, in accordance with local policies and state statutes.
· Tasco, LLC (hereinafter “Contractor”) was determined to be the lowest and best bidder.
· City desires to enter in an Agreement with Contractor to construct Project No. 54-13.

I move to recommend to City Council approval of an Ordinance awarding the bid for Project No. 54-13 for the Arnold Hall Stormwater Improvements Project to Tasco, LLC, in the amount of $1,238,528.00, and authorizing the City Manager to execute an agreement for the same.
