Issue/Request:
A budget amendment to reclassify positions in Municipal Court to reflect the recommendations of National Center for State Courts review providing for great efficiency and operational flexibility. The amendment consolidates the Bond Clerk, Warrant Clerk, and Records Management Clerk positions into Senior Court Clerks and the Deputy Court Clerks to Court Clerks.

I move to recommend to City Council for approval an Ordinance approving Amendment No. 14 to the Budget for the fiscal year ending june 30, 2021, as adopted by Ordinance No. 8905 and Ordinance No. 8906, by amending the authorized full time equivalent positions in the Municipal Court division for the City of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, and establishing a new Pay and Classification Plan.
