A Resolution to adopt the 2021 Airport Business Plan.
Key Issues:
• The current Airport Business Plan was developed in 2008.
• As a result of the implementation of the current Airport Master Plan, there have been significant changes to the Airport operational needs.
• City Council approved the development of an updated Business Plan on October 15, 2019.
• This is an operational plan which may be amended by the City Manager in accordance with authority granted by the Charter and the City Council.
Proposed Committee Motion:
I move to recommend to City Council approval of a resolution to adopt the 2021 Airport Business Plan.
Background:
The existing Airport Business Plan is a document that provides guidance and vision for the business operations of the Airport, City and supporting agencies. This document needed to be reviewed and updated to address the many changes that have taken place in the Airport’s operational status since the inception and development of the previous business plan in 2008. The updated Business Plan, as well as the updated Airport Master Plan, will provide guidance for airport operations and growth for the foreseeable future.

Committee Recommendation: The Public Works Committee voted unanimously 3-0 (Councilmember Carlyle "Absent"), to recommend to City Council approval of a resolution to adopt the 2021 Airport Business Plan.
