A Resolution adopting a policy related to the broadcast of certain public meetings.

Issue/Request:
The attached Resolution creates a framework to provide clarification as to the public meetings to be televised for live and/or delayed broadcast on the City-controlled media outlets, such as LSTV and the City’s LS.net website.
The Resolution will provide guidance to the City Manager in the assignment of resources that meets the expectation of the City Council. At this time, the Resolution will establish the following public meetings will be televised:
• City Council
• City Council Committees
• City Council “Task Forces” as determined by the City Council
• Planning Commission
• Tax-Increment Finance Committee
• Diversity and Inclusion Commission
• Parks and Recreation Board
Proposed City Council Motion:
I move to adopt a Resolution adopting a policy related to the broadcast of certain public meetings.
