An Ordinance awarding the bid for Project No. 28531583 for the Boggs Hollow Meter Structure Project to Infrastructure Solutions, LLC in the amount of $273,280.00 and authorizing the City Manager to execute an agreement of the same.
Key Issues:
· As directed by the FY21 CIP and under authorization of Ordinance No. 8802(A), HDR Engineering, Inc. designed for the installation of a permanent meter structure on the existing Boggs Hollow Interceptor (hereinafter "Project No. 28531583").
· Project No. 28531583 is funded from the Sewer Tap Fund.
· Water Utilities issued an advertisement for bids for the construction of Project No. 28531583 on March 3, 2021, in accordance with local policies and state statutes
· Infrastructure Solutions, LLC (hereinafter "Contractor") was determined to be the lowest and best bidder by City staff.
· The City desires to enter into an agreement with the Contractor to construct Project No. 28531583.
$273,280.00 and authorizing the City Manager to execute an agreement of the same.
Proposed City Council Motion:
FIRST MOTION: I move for a second reading of an Ordinance awarding the bid for Project No. 28531583 for the Boggs Hollow Meter Structure Project to Infrastructure Solutions, LLC in the amount of $273,280.00 and authorizing the City Manager to execute an agreement of the same.
SECOND MOTION: I move for adoption of an Ordinance awarding the bid for Project No. 28531583 for the Boggs Hollow Meter Structure Project to Infrastructure Solutions, LLC in the amount of $273,280.00 and authorizing the City Manager to execute an agreement of the same.
