Title

A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to appoint successor directors to the Summit Orchards Community Improvement District.

Body

Issue/Request:

A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to appoint successor directors to the Summit Orchards Community Improvement District.

Key Issues:

The Summit Orchards Community Improvement District (the "District") was established on June 28, 2018 by Ordinance No. 8404.

The District is run by a Board of Directors.  The Community Improvement District (CID) Act and the District By-laws provide for the Mayor of the City to appoint Successor Directors of the District, with the consent of the City Council.

The terms of three Directors have expired and the Board of Directors has sent their recommendations for re-appointment.  The attached Resolution if approved, would re-appoint Mark Dunning, Eric Mann and Casey McCambridge as the Successor Directors to each serve 4 year terms (April 16, 2021 - April 15, 2025).

Proposed City Council Motion:

I move for approval of the Resolution authorizing the Mayor to appoint successor directors to the Summit Orchards Community Improvement District.

Presenter

Mark Dunning, Assistant City Manager

Recommendation

Staff recommends approval of the Resolution.
