Background:
The City Council has an interest to create a new funding structure for future Business and Industry Tax revenues in a manner that will support Ordinance No. 4611, Business and Industry Fund. We anticipate a productive conversation will result from the presentation to help create an alignment regarding the use of funds between the City Council and the organization. Ultimately, based upon the City Council’s direction a Public Service Agreement may be considered in the future to create the formal relationship between the City and the organization.
