Committee Review:
A sidewalk gap program discussion was held with the Public Works Committee (PWC) during the November 2020 PWC meeting. The discussion included a presentation of sidewalk inventory, past project prioritization guidance, and introduction of alternative prioritization factors and methods of project identification. Public Works Committee provided staff direction to prepare an amended model for sidewalk gap project prioritization for further discussion. An updated sidewalk gap project prioritization model was presented to PWC at the January 2021 PWC meeting. The PWC recommended the sidewalk gap project prioritization model, as presented and recommended by staff, advance to City Council for review and concurred support.
