Issue/Request:
An ordinance approving the dual award of Bid No. 2021-027, to purchase Security System Products and Services on an as-needed basis for a one-year term with up to four, one-year renewals to American Digital Security LLC and Kenton Brothers Locksmiths, Inc. and authorizing the City Manager to execute the same for the City of Lee's Summit, Missouri.
Key Issues:
-Several of the City's facilities currently have some sort of security camera systems from various manufacturers
-The contract will address the need to maintain current equipment and systems, replace equipment as it fails, and provide an avenue to install new systems or expand current systems with budgetary approval
Proposed City Council Motion:
FIRST MOTION: I move for second reading of an Ordinance approving the dual award of Bid No. 2021-027, to purchase Security System Products and Services on an as-needed basis for a one-year term with up to four, one-year renewals to American Digital Security LLC and Kenton Brothers Locksmiths, Inc. and authorizing the City Manager to execute the same for the City of Lee's Summit, Missouri.
SECOND MOTION: I move for adoption of an Ordinance approving the dual award of Bid No. 2021-027, to purchase Security System Products and Services on an as-needed basis for a one-year term with up to four, one-year renewals to American Digital Security LLC and Kenton Brothers Locksmiths, Inc. and authorizing the City Manager to execute the same for the City of Lee's Summit, Missouri.
