An Ordinance authorizing the execution of a Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission Amendment to State Block Grant Agreement, Amendment #2 for Project No. 15-109A-1 by and between the City of Lee's Summit, Missouri, and the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission, for extending the grant expiration date to December 30, 2020 for assisting with pregrading runway 18-36 extension at the Lee's Summit Municipal Airport.

Key Issues:
· The Lee’s Summit Municipal Airport received a grant for $6,807,158.00
· The project is in the process of being closed out
· This amendment extends the grant expiration date from December 31, 2017 to December 30, 2020.
· In order to close the project and received all available grant funds, this amendment must be approved by the City Council.
