An Ordinance authorizing the execution of a Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission Supplemental Agreement to Airport Aid Agreement for Project No. 136-109A-1 by and between the City of Lee's Summit, Missouri, and the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission, granting state funds in the amount of $883.00 and for extending the grant expiration date to December 30, 2020 for assisting with runway 11-29 pregrading at the Lee's Summit Municipal Airport.

FIRST MOTION: I move for second reading of an Ordinance authorizing the execution of a Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission Supplemental Agreement to Airport Aid Agreement for Project No. 136-109A-1 by and between the City of Lee's Summit, Missouri, and the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission, granting state funds in the amount of $883.00 and for extending the grant expiration date to December 30, 2020 for assisting with runway 11-29 pregrading at the Lee's Summit Municipal Airport.
SECOND MOTION: I move for adoption of an Ordinance authorizing the execution of a Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission Supplemental Agreement to Airport Aid Agreement for Project No. 136-109A-1 by and between the City of Lee's Summit, Missouri, and the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission, granting state funds in the amount of $883.00 and for extending the grant expiration date to December 30, 2020 for assisting with runway 11-29 pregrading at the Lee's Summit Municipal Airport.
Background:
The Lee’s Summit Municipal Airport received a grant for $31,457.00 for the Runway 11-29 Pregrading. During the process of closing out the project, it was determined additional grant funding would be required. This amendment provides for granting additional funds in the amount of $883.00 and extends the grant expiration date from December 30, 2014 to December 30, 2020. In order to close the project and received all available grant funds, this amendment must be approved by the City Council.
