An Ordinance authorizing the execution of a Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission Amendment to State Block Grant Agreement, Amendment #1 for Project No. 13-109A-1 by and between the City of Lee's Summit, Missouri, and the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission, granting federal funds in the amount of $16,216.00 and for extending the grant expiration date to December 30, 2020 for assisting with runway 11-29 pregrading at the Lee's Summit Municipal Airport.

Key Issues:
· The Lee’s Summit Municipal Airport received a grant for 861,956.00
· The project is in the process of being closed out
· This amendment provides for granting additional funds in the amount of $16,216.00 and extends the grant expiration date from December 30, 2014 to December 30, 2020.
· Local matching funds in the amount of $883.00 are available from the Transportation Sales Tax.
· In order to close the project and received all available grant funds, this amendment must be approved by the City Council.
