Title
Status Update on the Airport Master Plan and Airport Business Plan Development
Body
Crawford, Murphy & Tilly (CMT) has been working on the development of the Airport Master Plan and Airport Business Plan since early this year. COVID-19 has presented several challenges and has slightly slowed the schedule, but the work has continued. CMT staff well be present to update the BOAC on work completed to date and work still remaining to be accomplished. Some of the work includes:
1. Comments received from the FAA and MODOT on the Demand Projections. Comments were minimal and do not materially alter the projections. It is expected that the FAA will approve the revisions and the Facilities Requirements chapter will be validated.
2. Business Plan recommendations are expected in the first or second week of December. Given the completion of the demand projections, facilities requirements and business plan, these documents can then inform the alternatives process.
3. The master plan webpage will be updated with copies of these documents for public and stakeholder knowledge.
4. The public engagement virtual open house has been live for 1 month and response has generally been positive both to the content provided and the format in which it was provided. The public and stakeholders can continue to access the open house via the following link: Virtual Open House (cityofls.net) <https://cityofls.net/airport/airport-master-plan/virtual-open-house>
