Issue/Request:
An Ordinance approving Change Order #2 to the contract with VF Anderson Builders, LLC for the Cedar Creek Interceptor, Phase 3 project, an increase of 55 calendar days to reach Substantial and Final Completion for a revised Substantial Completion Date of November 17, 2020.
Key Issues:
· A key piece of specialized rental equipment, 42 inch roller head bore cutting tool, was severely damaged by the previous user.
· Due to COVID-19, the plant equipped to repair the roller head was unable to repair the unit in a timely manner.
· After extensive searching, no other 42 inch roller head was found to be available.
· Contractor resorted to hand methods to complete the 42 inch bore.

FIRST MOTION: I move for a second reading approval of an Ordinance approving Change Order #2 to the contract with VF Anderson Builders, LLC for the Cedar Creek Interceptor, Phase 3 project, an increase of 55 calendar days to reach Substantial and Final Completion for a revised Substantial Completion Date of November 17, 2020.
SECOND MOTION: I move for adoption of an Ordinance approving Change Order #2 to the contract with VF Anderson Builders, LLC for the Cedar Creek Interceptor, Phase 3 project, an increase of 55 calendar days to reach Substantial and Final Completion for a revised Substantial Completion Date of November 17, 2020.
