Discussion and overview of the sign application and modification process

Issue/Request:
Staff wants to have a discussion with the CEDC about the current process for granting relief from sign standards. The existing process does not involve a public hearing and there is no opportunity for comments from surrounding property owners. There are a variety of options to create a process that balances the desire for additional signage with the concerns of the community. After covering today's UDO process staff will offer a series of recommendations.
