Proposed City Council Motion:
I move for a second reading of an Ordinance authorizing the execution of an Intergovernmental Agreement for confinement of prisoners by and between the City of Lee’s Summit, Missouri and Andrew County, Missouri by and through the Andrew County Sheriff’s Office.
Background:
The City of Lee's Summit desires to contract with Andrew County Sheriff's Office to provide and additional place for the confinement of prisoners that are awaiting trial or sentenced to serve time by the Lee's Summit Municipal Court.
