Issue/Request:
An Ordinance approving the use of a Cooperative Contract between Sourcewell and John Deere Construction Retail Sales to purchase heavy equipment and accessories as needed and authorizing the City Manager to execute the same for and on behalf of the City.
Key Issues:
-The Fleet Department purchases Heavy Equipment and accessories for use in City Departments.
-The purchase of the equipment is funded through the use of the Vehicle Equipment Replacement Program (VERP).
Background:
This contract would replace the current cooperative contract that is expiring with a new contract that would cover the next five years pending approval of annual renewals. The contract would be used to replace current heavy equipment based on the VERP replacement schedule. Purchases to add additional pieces of equipment would be presented during the budget process.

I move for adoption of an Ordinance approving the use of a Cooperative Contract between Sourcewell and John Deere Construction Sales to purchase heavy equipment and accessories and authorizing the City Manager to execute the same by and on behalf of the City
