In mid-2019 the City entered into an agreement with Mission Critical Partners to conduct public safety communication performance audit, provide recommendations to improve our abilities, and deliver a final report. MCP will provide presentation providing overview and findings outlined in report.

Background:
Mid-year 2019 Mission Critical Partners (MCP) was contracted with to complete a public safety communications study for the City of Lee’s Summit. The scope of the communications audit was to conduct formal evaluation of all components of the City’s public safety communications system. The presentation will be an overview of final report with recommendations for consideration to meet demand of Police, Fire, and Emergency Medical Service communications service delivery. The consultants engaged in a variety of internal and external stakeholder group discussions with city executive leadership, departmental managers, supervisors, and staff from Fire, Police, and Information Technology Services. as well as evaluating current facilities and equipment.
