Issue/Request:
An Ordinance authorizing execution of a Contract in accordance with the City's On-Call Contract for Repair Services for Water, Wastewater, and Stormwater Infrastructure (Contract 2019-003/1R) with Wiedenmann, Inc. for installation of NE Maybrook Drainage Improvements for a not to exceed cost of $157,358.00, and authorizing the City Manager to execute an agreement of the same for the City of Lee's Summit, Missouri.

Key Issues:
· The City Council approved an On-Call contract (Contract 2019-003/1R) with Wiedenmann, Inc. for the repair of Stormwater Infrastructure that set time and material rates for such work.
· Stormwater improvements to protect public infrastructure were approved as part of the 2017 CIP Sales Tax renewal approved by voters
· 5261 NE Maybrook Road has long been a problem area for standing water within the roadway, and undermining pavement.
· The City has coordinated with adjacent private development to acquire easements and complete engineering design for mutual benefits in addressing the stormwater issues in the project area.
Proposed City Council Motion:
FIRST MOTION: I move for a second reading of an Ordinance authorizing execution of a Contract in accordance with the City's On-Call Contract for Repair Services for Water, Wastewater, and Stormwater Infrastructure (Contract 2019-003/1R) with Wiedenmann, Inc. for installation of NE Maybrook Drainage Improvements for a not to exceed cost of $157,358.00, and authorizing the City Manager to enter into an agreement for the same.
