Issue/Request:
An Ordinance approving Change Order No. 3 to the contract with Westland Construction, Inc. for the FY19 watermain replacement project, an increase of $19,601.68 for a revised contract price of $1,318,958.23 and an increase of 73 calendar days to reach substantial and final completion.
Key Issues:
? A section of watermain replacement was added near the intersection of Chipman and Ward, requiring 17 additional days to complete this work.
? The scope of work changed at two separate locations along Woods Chapel Road, resulting in an additional 30 days to complete the work.
? 5 calendar days are being added to the raintree drive area as a result of ductile iron pipe being encountered in lieu of cast iron pipe as indicated in the plans.
? SW Seagull Street was added to the contract. 21 days are being added to complete this work.
? Additional quantities are being added for the SW Seagull Street watermain replacement.

FIRST MOTION: I move for a second reading of an Ordinance approving Change Order No. 3 to the contract with Westland Construction, Inc. for the FY19 watermain replacement project, an increase of $19,601.68 for a revised contract price of $1,318,958.23 and an increase of 73 calendar days to reach substantial and final completion.
