Presentation: 2019 Citizen's Leadership Academy Graduation Recognition

The first Citizens Leadership Academy was held in 2011, in response to a suggestion from LS 360. This year marks the 8th academy. Participants in the 2019 Academy will be presented to the Mayor and Council.
The 2019 Citizens Leadership Academy has been completed. We began with 22 participants and 18 were able to attend a majority of sessions. The final session, held on Saturday, April 13th, included a mock city council meeting for the City of Mockington. Participants held the positions of Mayor and Councilmembers as well as Management Staff.
Once again, City Staff willingly and enthusiastically participated in this program. I truly appreciate the assistance they provided and this Academy would not have been a success without them.
