An Ordinance authorizing execution of modification No. 12, to the agreement with Crawford, Murphy and Tilly, Inc. for On-Call Engineering Services for the airport (RFQ No. 2015-300) in the amount of $45,164.63 for Engineering, Inspection and Testing.
Key Issues:
? The construction contractor exceeded the days allowed in the contract.
? City incurred additional costs as a result of the delays, primarily in inspection and testing. The total additional cost charged by CMT to the city was $45,164.63.
? Liquidated damages in the amount of $45,164.63 were assessed to the contractor as a result of exceeding the contract time.
? Liquidated damages were based on actual engineering fees resulting in zero cost to the city.

I move for adoption of an Ordinance authorizing execution of modification No. 12, to the agreement with Crawford, Murphy and Tilly, Inc. for On-Call Engineering Services for the airport (RFQ No. 2015-300) in the amount of $45,164.63 for Engineering, Inspection and Testing.
