Issue/Request:
An Ordinance authorizing execution of an agreement by and between the City of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, and Bartlett and West, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $195,035.00 for Professional Engineering Services for the Browning Street Extension - SE Browning Street to SE Hamblen Rd (RFQ No. 568-32372), and authorizing the City Manager to enter into an agreement for the same.
Key Issues:
? The project is included in the City’s FY2019 Capital Improvement Plan adopted by Council.
? The project will be funded from the License (Excise) Tax fees.
? City staff issued RFQ No.568-32372 to conduct a Qualification Based Selection for professional engineering services, in accordance with state statutes, federal regulations, and local procurement policies.
? Bartlett & West was selected as the best qualified firm for the project and satisfactorily conducted negotiations for scope and fee with City staff.

I move for adoption of an Ordinance authorizing execution of an agreement by and between the City of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, and Bartlett & West, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $195,035.00 for Professional Engineering Services for the Browning Street Extension - SE Browning Street to SE Hamblen Rd (RFQ No. 568-32372), and authorizing the City Manager to enter into an agreement for the same.
