Each year prior to the first day of session of the Missouri General Assembly the City of Lee's Summit prepares the Legislative Intergovernmental Program. This document sets out the general support or opposition to legislation of various types that may come before the General Assembly. Additionally, the document provides the position of the City related to specific topics of potential legislation.
The Legislative / Inter-Governmental Relations Committee reviewed drafts of the document and provided input to staff.
Motion: I move for adoption of a Resolution adopting the 2019 Legislative Intergovernmental Program for the City of Lee's Summit, Missouri.
