A Resolution granting the City Council's consent pursuant to City Charter section 3.10(e) to the appointment of Assistant Prosecuting Attorneys for the prosecution of municipal violations of city ordinances before the Lee's Summit Municipal Court.

Issue/Request:
This resolutions evidences the consent of the City Council as provided by the Charter to allow Beth Murano, Zachary Cartwright, and Daniel White, all attorneys of the Civil Division of the Law Department to serve as Prosecutors for the City. From time to time due to absence or illness, it is necessary for attorneys other than the Prosecutor and Assistant Prosecutor to serve temporarily as prosecutors. With the recent hiring of a new attorney, it is appropriate to restate the authorizations for prosecutors in addition to the City Prosector.
MOTION:
I move for adoption of a Resolution granting the City Council's consent pursuant to City Charter section 3.10(e) to the appointment of Assistant Prosecuting Attorneys for the prosecution of municipal violations of city ordinances before the Lee's Summit Municipal Court.
