An ordinance approving the award of Bid No. 19631583 for the Winterset Woods & Sterling Hills Trunk Sewer Main project to Beemer Construction Company, Inc. in the amount of $1,174,488.00.

? The project involves the replacement of approximately 3,300 feet of sanitary sewer trunk line, 13 precast manholes of various sizes and depths, and all associated appurtenances in the Cedar Creek Watershed.
? The project was designed by Burns & McDonnell Engineering Company, Inc.
? The project is funded by the Sewer Tap Fund and the Sewer Construction Fund.
? On July 2, 2018, City staff advertised the Invitation to Bid on the City’s website. Bidding closed at 3:00 p.m. on July 25, 2018. All bids duly received were opened publicly and read aloud in City Hall in the Howard A Conference Room.
? Beemer Construction Company, Inc. was the low bidder, and meets all of the City’s qualifications for award of the project.
