An Ordinance authorizing the execution of a Development Agreement between Whispering Woods Land, LLC, a Missouri Limited Liability Corporation and the City of Lee's Summit, Missouri.
Key Issues:
On March 2, 2017 the City Council concluded a public hearing for Application #PL2016219, for preliminary development and rezoning from AG - Agricultural to R1 - Residential Single Family, of approximately 76.32 acres of land generally lying northeast of the intersection of SW Pryor Rd and SW Hook Rd, on property legally described in Exhibit A (“Property”), owned by the Developer, which will be developed as Whispering Woods (“Development”) as shown in Exhibit B, a map of the preliminary development plan.
Following the public meetings for the Development, the City Council voted to approve the application for the Development subject to the Developer entering into a development agreement with the City to provide for certain Improvements, as defined within said agreement, necessary for the Development.
In satisfaction of the City Council's condition of approval, the Developer and the City now desire to enter into this Agreement.
Proposed City Council Motion:
I move for adoption of an Ordinance authorizing the execution of a Development Agreement between Whispering Woods Land, LLC, a Missouri Limited Liability Corporation and the City of Lee's Summit, Missouri.
