Key Points:
? The sanitary sewer just to the east of Bitter Creek Road which serves the Paddock at Richardson Ranch subdivision and areas to the east was damaged in the late summer rain events.
? The sewer which parallels the stream at this location was over taken by the stream and uncovered.
? This caused the sewer main to buckle, but it did not separate or spill any sewage.
? City Crews were dispatched to do an emergency repair on the sewer while a permanent fix was designed and easements obtained.
? The permanent repair is more than the City crews are equipped to complete but is still needed as soon as possible.
? Because of this Water Utilities requested a quote from Wiedenmann Inc. to perform this repair in accordance with the current on-call contract.
? Wiedenmann Inc. estimates the cost will be $84,173.00 for the work.

FIRST MOTION: I move for a second reading of AN ORDINANCE AWARDING SANITARY SEWER CONSTRUCTION WORK, FOR THE BITTER CREEK ROAD SEWER TO WIEDENMANN INC., IN ACCORDANCE WITH ON CALL CONTRACT 2013-128/4R IN THE AMOUNT OF $84,173.00 AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT FOR THE SAME.
SECOND MOTION: I move for adoption of AN ORDINANCE AWARDING SANITARY SEWER CONSTRUCTION WORK, FOR THE BITTER CREEK ROAD SEWER TO WIEDENMANN INC., IN ACCORDANCE WITH ON CALL CONTRACT 2013-128/4R IN THE AMOUNT OF $84,173.00 AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT FOR THE SAME.
